Dad's quilt, finished

Well, I finished Dad's Birthday Quilt (he turned 80 this past week) and I forgot to take photos of the darn thing! It's now at his home and I will take pictures the next time I'm visiting, but in the mean time here are a few of the close-to-finished product.











And now I'm working hard on the two baby quilts for my friend in Maine. Wish me luck!

Quilt for my father

I am marching along with my next project - a birthday quilt for my father. He's a Ralph Lauren kind of guy so I went with pretty preppy colors and a sea theme as he loves fishing and the beach.

I finished the cutting and two out of the six blocks I intend to do today. Tomorrow, hopefully, I will finish the blocks and maybe cut the border. We'll see!
